Finnish Customs Sports Association (FCSA) was established in 1957 and has been a member of ECSA since 1995. Since its accession, the FCSA has been actively participating in ECSA led and coordinated events and has also organized several ECSA branded tournaments over the years. In addition to its cooperation with ECSA, the FCSA has been actively cooperating regionally and bilaterally with neighboring countries (Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Latvia).
FCSA's objective is to encourage Customs officers to exercise and to provide them with increased opportunities to achieve a better physical condition. A big part of the FCSA activity also aims at building an increased team spirit within Customs officers through sports. FCSA also coordinates Finnish Customs officers' participation to international Customs sporting events and supports participation financially within the limits of its financial means.
15 local Customs sports clubs are members of the FCSA. The main yearly activities of the FCSA include summer and winter games, which bring together twice a year 150-250 Customs officers to compete in a wide variety of different sporting disciplines.
